Never Buy Batteries Again. That’s my goal anyway — we’ll see how it goes. I haven’t used these long enough to draw a conclusion but I have kind of gone all in with them. I ordered a bunch and have vowed to use these exclusively from now on. Every time I need to replace a battery I use an Eneloop. Eventually “everything” in my home that uses batteries will be using Eneloop. The thought of not spending money on those packages of disposable Duracells ever again is a nice one!
Update:I went to grab some AAA batteries out of the battery bin yesterday and came back empty. So, sticking to my plan to completely replace all the needed batteries in my home with rechargeables, I ordered up an 18 pack of Eneloops. Incidentally, at the time of this writing, the Eneloop rechargeables cost about 4 times what the Amazon Basic AAA Batteries cost. Considering the Eneloop are rechargeable up to 2,100 times I should see a mighty fine return on investment.
